I am a creative-minded individual with over 5 years experience in content production for media and public relations. I have strong interpersonal skills, by gaining the trust and respect of others through my easy going personality when it comes to working with clients and co-workers.
I use my varied experiences acquired from my successful dealings with diverse clientele to complete tasks within a team or independently.
I have a hands on knowledge of web design, data collection, magazine layout implementation, video/sound editing, Microsoft Office software manipulation and material research for production.
Attention to details and my quest for perfection in my work keeps me diligent when solving problems. Every single task is a desired challenge to succeed in, that is why I always offer fresh creative input to problem solving in a production process.
In my spare time, I use my digital media knowledge to fight for equal rights for the LGBT community in Africa.

My experience in planning, producing, and publishing creative contents within a public relations environment:
• I developed key planning responsibilities in word and art format.
• I implemented in-house creative services for successful print and digital editorial publication.
• I maintained technical competency and good communication with potential clients.
• I worked with different departments across the company to ensure a consistent approach to editorial standards in all content before publishing.
• I worked closely with different production teams to oversee the effective on-going use of planned digital media Management Styles.
• I am proactive in formulating appropriate approach and creative responses to a client’s imagination.
• I am dedicated to completing projects within recommended duration and on budget.
My experience in copywriting, editing, and proofreading in plain English language:
• Identifying my clients audience: I usually put myself in the audience’s position. Their age, language proficiency, location, and ethnicity play important roles in production process.
• Writing in clear spoken English: I avoid being overly stuffy or formal. I use everyday simple words in describing the client’s message. I write as if I am explaining a situation to somebody face-to-face for easy understanding.
• Short writing: I keep it brief when writing for print or online media. I always make sure the sentences, paragraphs, and the entire texts are as short as possible. I usually put all supporting information on a separate page linking the reader to more information if necessary.
• Being meticulous: I never send out my first draft for publication. I always put it to one side, and come back to it later to read it through, and over again to make sure the grammar and spellings are correct.
How I conveyed my technical knowledge to non-technical colleagues:

• I always take my time to write memos or emails in simplest words to explain myself thoroughly.

• I try not to over-cram them with analogies and technical words like SEO, HTML, or editing terminologies when explaining situations. I tend to keep it simple and attached references to more information where needed.

• I taught clients and co-workers how to edit/update wordpress.org and wordpress.com with new contents.

• I am always open to explaining a problem or a solution at any time of the day when approached.
